Blind Photos
Based in the Portland Oregon and Vancouver Washington metroplex, Blind Photos is led by legally blind photographer Katt Green. With a unique perspective shaped by vision loss and a deep love for visual storytelling, Katt captures bold, authentic moments through portraiture and specialized creative projects. By pairing adaptive technology with a sharp artistic eye, she demonstrates that legal blindness is not the absence of vision, but a distinct and powerful way of seeing.

Being the blind photographer
I am the first legally blind photographer in the United States to earn a degree in photography while utilizing an adaptive headset to see. Beyond earning this historic degree, I graduated as valedictorian because I committed the extra hours and unrelenting discipline required to ensure my work was flawless—and you can expect that exact same tireless work ethic on your shoot. During my training, I used an Apple Vision Pro headset equipped with custom software that corrected visual limitations in real time, pairing integrated spatial computing with AI narration to map spatial distances, detect light levels, and describe the environment around me. While other visually impaired photographers may point, shoot, and hope for the best, I leave nothing to chance. I don't hope; I ensure I am the best choice for your photography needs.
